For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities –
his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen,
being understood from what has been made,
so that men are without excuse.
Romans 1:20, NIV
This is one of those days that made my life more beautiful. The morning was exposing a great delight as I enjoyed my waffles and mango juice for breakfast. Although my body was telling me to go back to bed and dream, I still decided to go for an hour drive.
My colleagues were excited especially May who didn’t give a slight boredom with her selfie captures. Mike, Anavic, Evelyn, and Bong joined in this provincial venture. When we reached Mambukal, our driver pointed me to hanging natural chandeliers (which are known as bats in real life by the way). He mentioned that there were life-sized bats nesting in some caves! And I was wondering if they were unleashed at that time. Thankfully, they were sleeping.
And so we started with our hiking we fondly called our “morning exercise”. I’ve been exploring different mountains for some time and I have always loved this connection with nature – the whispers of the river, the towering ancient trees, the soothing falls, the mud in my shoes (super washed two nights before this). Remarkable. I can ‘t help but express my gratitude and amazement to the one who made them all.
I bought 3 plants for Php20 each which had an airport restraining experience before it exited the city of smiles. I told one of the porters that I didn’t mind leaving it. But that’s an amusing reality – the more you let go of something, the more it becomes yours.♥
