To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

Ephesians 4:22-24, ESV

I always love Coachella. The year 1999 announced its birth. I was 11. It is a dream, buried deep in my heart long before fashion joined this music festival. The desire to witness a big crowd as artists own the stage, the spread of united noise, the invigorating echo of dances, the foods and the drinks tossed in the air is a reflection of an infinite, joyful celebration. Oh what a beautiful chaos when people come together, strong, free, without boundaries of whatsoever for the love of music! I know it would be a great week if done in the name of Jesus.

This year, it happened last April in Indio, California. Much to the anticipation of the young world, I knew I won’t be able to come. Nevertheless, I was still beaming in excitement knowing that fashion trends freely parade in the big venue. Inspiration just came in handy (with the help of Google, of course) from all different races. Though I missed another yet phenomenal festivity for 17 long years, I refused to be indifferent! Making it happen in one of the Philippine city parks was a fun choice. So under the scorching heat of the sun, I danced in the rhythm of the wind and the trees. The setting just welcome my presence. And it’s just a lovely day, considering the applause of nature.♥
